The West Austin News
The ‘West Austin News’ is an informative weekly newspaper featuring articles on events for the West and Northwest areas of Austin. It is a social newspaper, full of information on happenings around our area and stories of interest about many of our neighbors. I have found numerous summer camp activities through ads and articles in the WAN, as well as fun suggestions for holiday activities for both children and adults. It is a quick way for me to see what is going on around town and learn more about opportunities we may want to participate with in the future. The annual subscription is around $45 – which is very reasonable to me, especially when I consider the amount of local information the WAN provides me with each year.
