Sing! Sing Out Loud!
The Austin Symphony’s Christmas Sing-Along. My favorite event of the holiday season! It will be held on December 14, 2010 at the River Bend Centre (Church) located on Loop 360. The event is free but you do need to have tickets to attend. The symphony usually makes the tickets available around the 1st of December, but you have to go to their box office downtown to pick up the free tickets. The concert is fun for all ages, especially for those who love to sing holiday songs! It usually lasts about 90 minutes, with an annual appearance by Frosty, Rudolph and Santa himself. Arrive early for the best seats and parking, especially since it is a free event with no assigned seats. You can call the Austin Symphony box office at 476-6064 for more information on the ticket availability as the date draws near (usually around the 2nd or 3rd week of November they announce the Sing-Along ticket release date). Sing loud!
