Learning Express (9607 Research Boulevard, Austin, 78759) is THE place to go for children’s gifts. They are always well-stocked on the latest crazes for the younger set. Books, ride-on toys, games, craft kits, stomp rockets, pool toys, jewelry, Summer Bridge activity books and so much more await you in this store. The staff are super-friendly and if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, they do a wonderful job of helping you find items to purchase that are currently popular for that age of child or by a child’s activity preferences. Unlike your toys purchased at Target or Toys R Us, the toys at Learning Express are always available for you to check out before buying them (to see the quality of product) and the employees seem to have endless knowledge of how all their products in the store work! Best of all: they will wrap your gift for free! What a bonus to cross one more thing off your ‘to-do’ list before attending a child’s party. Lastly, a soon-to-be birthday boy or girl can pre-shop at Learning Express to select items they would like to receive for their birthday. You can include a quick note on your party invitations that the birthday child is registered at Learning Express, and your attendees can visit the store to find exactly what your child was hoping for on their big day. (Who doesn’t love to go into a toy store and say, “I want this…and this…and that too!”) Enjoy!
